President Akufo-Addo today, Friday, November 29, 2024, commissioned the newly completed Phase II of the Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange.

The President said the project was one of several projects launched under his administration to upgrade infrastructure and address persistent traffic congestion problems in Accra.

He said the project aims to boost the country’s development and stimulate economic growth.

President Akufo-Addo speaking When the interchange was commissioned, it was stated that it would improve urban mobility and facilitate efficient transport along one of the capital’s busiest routes.

Akufo-Addo commissions flower pot exchanger

YEN.com.gh reported that President Nana Akufo-Addo recently ordered the Flower pot exchange In Accra.

The initiative aims to help alleviate traffic congestion on the northern and southern corridors of the Tema Expressway.

The project, designed to strengthen connectivity and improve travel times for commuters, took seven years to complete before it opened on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
