First frost of the season

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Nashville reached 32° overnight and broke a record for the last first frost of the season.

The entire Midstate woke up to temperatures in the 20s this morning. This sets a record for the latest first frost we have ever seen during the fall season. Typically, Nashville experiences its first frost around November 1st. The previous record for first frost was broken on November 27, 2009. You’ll have to get used to the cold for a while because it’s here to stay for a while.
