Firefox came out at 12-1 for the Arkle with some business following its defeat in Drink morebut that’s an overreaction.

The Drinmore was another race he should have won and he didn’t, but he is not a hold-up horse who will outperform his rivals. He is a brilliant jumper who will be best seen when allowed to gallop forward for two miles. When this happens, his opponents behind will be under real pressure.
