NBC is battling ESPN as broadcasters seek to provide fans with the most unique viewing experiences.

Monday Night Football Cast of Manning was a huge win for ESPN.

Millions tuned in to hear Peyton And Elie Manning discuss games with guests during the broadcast.

And NBC is looking to leverage AI to offer its own simulcast.

The network will work with Genius Sports and EA Sports to create a Madden-themed show when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Houston Texans later this month.

Video game technology will be used during live coverage of the Week 16 matchup via streaming service Peacock.

“We are excited to work with the NFL, EA Sports and Genius Sports to offer fans the opportunity to watch Madden come to life like never before, exclusively on Peacock, which has established itself as a home for premium live sports and of innovative viewing experiences” Executive Producer of NBC Sports. NFL Fred said Gaudelli.

“This first-ever Madden NFL Cast marks another milestone as Peacock’s first sports alternative cast.”

Next Gen Stats will provide data powered by the Madden game engine.

Genius Sports’ GeniusIQ AI platform is used to bring it all together.

CBS also offers alternative coverage, in this case child-friendly commentary and graphics related to Nickelodeon.

The 11-1 Chiefs are poised to close out the AFC West but have a lot to play for as they battle against the 10-2 team. Buffalo Bills for the No. 1 seed.

Andy Reid isn’t happy with the protection Mahomes is getting after being sacked five times during Friday’s matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The head coach removed left tackle Wanya Morris from the lineup in an effort to improve his line.

“Yeah, Wanya was struggling a little bit, so I moved Joe (Thuney) over there, (Mike) Caliendo to guard, I thought it was the right thing to do at that time,” Reid said after the close victory.

“I talked to Andy (Heck) about it, and he agreed. So we made that decision just to solidify things. Pat took some hits there, and so we struggled at times.”

“I have to be better,” Morris admitted. “(I have) to be better in certain situations and fair overall.

“It’s obviously good to get the W, but I’m disappointed in myself.”

CJ StroudThe Texans are 8-5 in the AFC South and hold a two-win lead over the Indianapolis Colts but they are far from the heavyweight expected by many this season.

The Chiefs continue to rack up wins and return to action in Week 14 when they face their AFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Chargers, who could get within two games with a win.
