Houston – Authorities have released a surveillance image of a suspicious vehicle believed to be involved in the incident. fatal shot of a 17-year-old Saturday evening in Houston.

Houston Police responded to reports of a shooting around 6:40 p.m. in the 6100 block of Caddo Lake Lane.

Officers arrived and found the victim unconscious in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Investigators say the victim was meeting individuals in a dark-colored SUV when an argument escalated. The suspect(s) exited the vehicle and fired several shots at the victim.

The victim reportedly fought back before succumbing to his injuries. Dozens of shell casings and a handgun were recovered at the scene.

The vehicle involved, described as a dark-colored SUV, was captured in a surveillance image released by police. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle or any suspects connected to the case.

The identity of the victim is awaiting verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
