Completing the release of M-Files

Molten Ventures (LSE: GROW, Euronext Dublin: GRW), a leading venture capital firm that invests in and develops high-growth digital technology companies, announces the successful completion of the exit of M-Files, following regulatory approvals.

Molten first invested in M-Files, an intelligent file management platform and leader in knowledge work automation using generative AI, in Series A in 2013. The exit generated a multiple of 7.4x on invested capital. The Group’s total achievements for the financial year have now reached £124 million (£76 million reported for the first six months), exceeding the guidance of £100 million provided at the start of the financial year.

The highly successful release of M-Files and other achievements have generated significant cash revenues which will enable us to take advantage of other attractive investment opportunities.

“While achievements have already exceeded our initial expectations for the financial year, with the planned large releases having been completed, there remains potential for further smaller releases. Our primary focus is active portfolio management and generating strong returns for investors.
