Forgive Aregbesola, Oba of Lagos appeals to Tinubu — Politics — The Guardian Nigeria News – Nigeria and World News

• Declares that the objective is to reclaim the state and nation for unity and development.

The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, has called on President Bola Tinubu to forgive and reconcile with former Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola.

The monarch made the call when he received the Minister of State for Works, Bello Goronyo, and the Director General (MD)/CEO of FERMA, Chukwuemeka Agbasi and their team at his palace.

Goronyo and Agbasi were on a two-day working tour of installations and commissioning of projects in Lagos State.

Meanwhile, Aregbesola said the aim of the Omoluabi Progressives Caucus, a splinter group within the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is to win back the state and the nation for unity and development.

Aregbesola, who is the leader of the group, said this during a stakeholders meeting held in Ilesa, where he charged members to intensify their moves regarding the membership of the caucus in all local councils in the state .

In his verified X account, formerly known as Twitter, the former governor said: “I urge all members to embody the spirit of resilience, dedication, love and unity, which are the foundation of any successful business. »

I also remind them of the need to fully align with our core philosophy of discipline, courage, character and competence.

The former Interior Minister, while expressing satisfaction over the growth of the group, added: “I express great joy over the ongoing membership registration exercise, which has recorded remarkable growth . I encourage everyone to continue to invite more people to join our ranks and strengthen our collective resolve.
