Nick David: Harlequins full-back signs new contract at Twickenham Stoop

Harlequins fullback Nick David has become the latest player to extend his contract at The Stoop.

The 26-year-old, who can play on the wing or at full-back, left Worcester Warriors for London in 2021 and has made 60 appearances in the famous quarters, scoring 14 tries.

He has made eight appearances in all competitions this season.

David becomes the eighth player to sign a new deal with the club in recent weeks, following vice-captain Cadan Murley, Will Porter, Cassius Cleaves, Tyrone Green, Will Evans, Will Hobson, Sam Riley and former captain Stephan Lewies.

“I’m absolutely delighted to extend my stay at Harlequins, it’s my home,” he said.

“There’s a great group of guys and coaches here, and the way we want to play matches my qualities.

“My time here has gone pretty quickly – I’ve been here for four seasons now. Learning not only from the quality coaches here, but also from the players we have, has really stepped up my game and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

The club did not disclose the length of David’s new contract.

Harlequins are seventh in the Premiership table with three wins from their opening seven matches and begin their European Champions Cup campaign against Racing 92 on Saturday.
