Bryan Johnson sparks debate in India with six-day food supply; see reactions

Bryan Johnson, the 45-year-old tech millionaire behind the age-reversal project ‘Blueprint,’ became a talking point during his visit to India, not for his health experiments, but for having carried six days of his own food. Johnson’s dietary precautions, which he detailed on X (formerly Twitter), sparked strong reactions from social media users.

Johnson posted: “A lot of people ask me what I do with food when I travel. The first rule is: food is guilty until proven innocent. That’s why I took with me to India all the calories I will eat for six days.

Her travel diet included longevity blends, macadamia nut bars, lentils, pea soup and matcha, according to her rigorously tested Blueprint program. Johnson clarified that his choice was not specific to India but resulted from concerns about the global food supply.

While his post has been viewed more than 800,000 times, reactions online have been mixed.

One user criticized his strict approach, writing: “Destroying the real quality of life in the hope of increasing the quantity of life is the greatest madness of the 21st century.” I pity this guy for the life he has to lead.

Others took a lighter tone. “If you go to India and don’t eat the food, it doesn’t count as a visit,” one user joked. Another said: “Now you are a real Indian aunty, traveling with a second suitcase full of food!” »

On Sunday evening, Johnson hosted an exclusive meet-and-greet at Soho House, Mumbai, in the presence of Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and comedian Tanmay Bhat. The event received over 1,100 applications, with only 50 successful participants.

“Last night at Soho House with @deepigoyal, who built @zomato into one of India’s most successful companies. There were more than 1,100 applications for 50 seats. Sad to miss so many of you,” Johnson wrote on X, sharing a photo from the gathering.

Johnson’s visit to Mumbai is part of his global quest to reverse aging. Her daily regimen includes waking up at 4:30 a.m., a meticulously designed plant-based diet, taking more than 100 supplements, and unique treatments such as plasma transfusions. It spends millions each year on health surveillance and research.
