JACKSONVILLE, Florida. – The News4JAX Varsity 4 Super 6 women’s soccer rankings will be released every Thursday during the regular season – except during the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas. The records date from the December 4 matches.

1. (1) Ponte Vedra (5-0-1, Class 5A)

Quality wins: Bishop Kenny, Niceville, Stanton, St. Johns Country Day, Tocoi Creek.

Notable: The pace continues for the head coach David Silverberg and sharks. They have faced the mighty St. Johns (4-0) and Tocoi Creek (3-0) since our last Super 6. They have a very tough stretch to follow, visiting the undefeated Chilis on Saturday, then Bishop Moore (Monday) and No 2 Bartram Trail (December 13). Lily Morse And Izzy Whitaker combined for 12 goals. The defense only allowed five.

2. (2) Bartram Trail (5-0-1, Class 6A)

Quality wins: Episcopal, Fletcher, PK Yonge, St. Johns CD.

Notable: The defense continues to lead the way. G.K. Lily Holden And Megan Waskiewicz have yet to allow a goal in six matches. They will travel to undefeated Chile on Friday in a heavy collision. A week later, they have No. 1 Ponte Vedra. Brooke Gosse And Ali Fletcher scored 12 of the team’s 20 goals.

3. (3) Creekside (6-0-1, Class 7A)

Quality wins: Beach side, Edgewood, Oakleaf.

Notable: The Knights, defending Class 7A state champions, crushed Oakleaf, Mandarin and Fleming Island by a combined 20-0. They tied undefeated Timber Creek 1-all. Creekside is currently on a 12-game unbeaten streak dating back to last year’s championship season. Sarah Weisberg, Brooke Godoy And Lily Paisant led the way on offense with 18 combined goals. With the aim, Hailey Smith And Pauline Brownstein limited the teams to just two goals.

4. (4) St. Johns National Day (4-2, Class 1A)

Quality wins: Niceville, PK Yonge.

Notable: Mike Pickett’s The team is feeling things out on the offensive side of the ball early. Calli Berrang And Reygan Rogero have two goals each for the Spartans. They only scored seven as a team, but the defense is playing well. They will be tested soon, with Fletcher on Thursday followed by four-time defending state champion Lakeland Christian on Saturday.

5. (6) Beach side (5-1, class 5A)

Quality gain: Episcopal, Navarre.

Notable: A 1-0 loss to No. 3 Creekside was the Barracudas’ only blemish. The most robust part of the program begins in mid-December. Peyton Thomas, Bella Dueñas and Abbi Cooper lead Beachside’s attack.

6. (NR) Bishop Kenny (5-1-2, Class 4A)

Quality wins: Bollés, Fernandina beach.

Notable: A 3-1 win over Bolles and a goalless draw against No.2 Bartram highlight Kenny’s recent success. The defeat goes to No. 1 Ponte Vedra. Reilly Clarke And Emma Baggett have scored 14 of 24 goals this season for the Crusaders.
