As manga readers predicted, Dandan literally plays with the viewer’s expectations, and rightly so! Now, with the release of episode 10, the bar has been raised even further to a much higher level of storytelling, blending a perfect blend of humor and emotion.

The episode itself contained a lot of touching and funny moments, but among all of them, one scene stood out the most to some fans. In a certain scene, we see Aira finally stand up against her past sins and confess her previous misdeeds to her classmates. Now everyone is wondering if that’s really enough for Aira to redeem herself and earn the fans’ forgiveness.

Aira finally admitted her fault in spreading rumors about Momo

It was certainly a scene to see how Aira immediately reacted when her classmates assumed that it was Momo who harassed and stripped her naked in the previous episode. Aira’s reaction to this assumption came out quite unexpected as she immediately defended Momo, stating that Momo didn’t do anything to her.

This quite contradicted the way she had behaved earlier, when she had slandered Momo, spreading rumors that she was sleeping with several guys. The fact that Aira finally admitted her lies and cleared Momo’s name already speaks volumes about her maturity.

It seems like she learned her lesson and is now trying to become a better person. Even his conversation with Momo and Okarun in the previous episode also indicates that she deserves redemption. But can someone who was initially so malicious and hurtful suddenly change overnight?

Buybacks take time and don’t happen overnight

With Aira’s recent actions of saving Okarun and confessing to spreading rumors, one would hope that this would be the perfect starting point for her redemption arc. After all, as we all know, redemption takes time, effort, and most importantly, consistency. One or two good deeds can’t erase your past sins, but it’s certainly a starting point.

The concern remains, and the discomfort of the fans too. Only time will tell if Aira truly changes, but as of now, her efforts have given her a glimpse of hope that she might finally be on the path to redemption.

With only two episodes left in Season 1 of Dandanaudiences can look forward to seeing more serious character development for Aira. Needless to say, she was considered a fan favorite from the moment she was first introduced in the anime. Hopefully, Aira’s future plans will become even better from now on and allow her to become the most adorable character in the series. After all, she is the most beautiful!
