28 Years Later Teaser Contains a Puzzling Hidden Message for the Trailer

The trailer for 28 years later happened, and those with some knowledge of Morse code might have figured out that there was an inkling of what was to come.

The long awaited horror movie The sequel will hit theaters on June 20, 2025 and so far, fans have only gotten a glimpse of the poster for the new film.

On December 7, a very brief trailer was also released, and if you listen closely to the audio, the Morse code track used over it could be an indication of when the first official trailer will arrive: Tuesday December 10.

The teaser is incredibly short, with only flashing images and beeps to suggest the apocalyptic atmosphere that is sure to occur.

However, there is a method to this randomness: if you listen to the beep, it is actually Morse code for the word “Tuesday.” All signs point to this being the release date for the first trailer for the zombie follow-up.

The rest of the teaser is a short series of images that appear to show the destruction left behind by the zombie takeover, as well as an image of a remote island. Obviously, the fans are asking for more.

“I’m not even sure this qualifies as a teaser when the majority of the trailer is just black with millisecond frames. It’s like a trailer for a trailer. The official poster reveals much more than this teaser and it’s also predominantly black,” said a Reddit user in response to the clip.

“Yeah, that’s definitely a teaser,” said another.

28 Years Later stars Cillian Murphy, Jodie Comer, Ralph Fiennes and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and will follow Danny Boyle’s original 2002 horror film.

It will also mark the start of a new trilogy, with Nia DaCosta set to direct the second film.
