Officers were called to Lichfield Street just before 5am today (Saturday).

The scene has been cordoned off while police investigate to determine how the man died.

Anyone who could help with the investigation has been asked to come forward.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to Lichfield Street, Walsallshortly before 5 a.m. today, after a man’s body was found.

“An investigation is underway to establish the details.

“A scene unfolds while we investigate.
