Christmas is finally upon us, which means everything leading up to the big day is set aside in the hunt for the final Terry’s Chocolate Orange segment, discussions over turkey details and whether or not to Die hard should be ranked among the best Christmas movies or not.

As December 25 approaches, it’s time to sit on the couch with your coziest blanket and a steaming cup of mulled wine in one hand and the remote control in the other.

Fortunately, TV bosses succeeded this year with some festive treats for the whole family – including Christmas specialties from Gavin and Stacey, Doctor Who and calls the midwife.

But if catching up with the people of EastEnders isn’t quite your speed, there are crackers available to stream on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and every other platform you can think of.
