BB gunman injures victim during fight at Broward Park

SUNRISE, Florida. – A shooter with a BB gun shot a victim in the face Sunday during a fight in a Broward County public park, police said.

Officers went to Flamingo Park, 12855 NW 8 St., in Sunrise, and found the victim near a basketball court. According to the Sunrise Police Department, the victim was struck in the cheek and was conscious before requiring hospitalization.

The attack was still under investigation as of Sunday afternoon. Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
