I’m A Celeb viewers worry about finalists after seeing the reality of what they ate for three weeks – TV

I’m a celebrity fans “can’t imagine how hungry the contestants must have been” throughout the show.

Viewers were left stunned after Ant and December revealed what jungle diet what this year’s campmates looked like.

On Sunday night, McFly’s Danny Jones was crowned king of the junglewhile Coleen Rooney came in second place and the Rev. Richard Coles in third.

After thanking viewers for their votes, the singer admitted: “I’ve had some of the hardest times I’ve ever had, and some of the highest highs.”

Today, although the finalists were rewarded with a meal of their choice, they apparently had to make do with “rations” for the past three weeks.

While many celebrities credited the “rice and beans” diet with helping them lose weight during I’m a celebrityAnt and Dec have revealed how much their campmates receive every day.

Take to social networksthe presenters once again answered fans’ questions and filmed their answers.

“How much rice and beans do they each actually get? ” Dec read aloud, while Ant replied: “Well, that’s a very good question.

“And we have the exact amount they’re getting.”

After showing two small brown packets to the camera, Ant said: “Here’s the rice and here’s the beans they get. “It’s per person per day. That’s it. So if they don’t do well on tryouts, that’s all they get. »

“So let’s open the bags,” Dec continued. “So they really count on what they earn because it’s…”

“Isn’t that much? What rank does that look like? Look at that man, imagine… no wonder they picked them up in the river the other day when they got them thrown into the stream,” Ant intervened.

Commenting TikTokone fan wrote: “Wow. I assumed they were getting this per meal instead of per day.”

“I didn’t expect it to be so little,” wrote a second.

“It’s their evening meal. What do they make for breakfast and lunch?” a third wrote.

As another commented: “Is there a duty of care if they don’t eat five fruits or vegetables a day?

Someone else said: “This is really crazy, I can’t imagine how hungry they were yesterday?

It comes after Scarlett Moffatt, the ‘queen of the jungle’ of 2016, said she lost more than three stone by exercising for hours every day and eating just 700 calories in the jungle.

Michael Buerk’s wife said while he was in the jungle in 2014: “I was quite horrified to realize that they only eat 500 calories a day in the jungle. It’s not that he doesn’t like rice and beans, but the rations are quite low.
