The Ukrainian president also expressed his openness to French President Emmanuel Macron’s proposal to deploy international military forces to Ukraine, which could potentially bridge the gap ahead of NATO membership.

Reports indicate that the UK and France are considering deployments of peacekeepers after a possible ceasefire, an idea that German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has did not exclude.
