FORECAST: Freeze warnings in Arizona

PHOENIX – A big thrill is coming to Arizona!

Overnight lows will dip into the 30s and 40s across the Valley, with lows in the single digits in parts of the high country this evening.

Frost Warnings are in effect overnight through early Wednesday morning for parts of southern and western Arizona, including Casa Grande and Globe.

Freezing and freezing could kill sensitive vegetation or even damage unprotected plumbing in these areas. Be sure to cover your plants, wrap your pipes, and bring your pets indoors at night.

High pressure will build again Wednesday and Thursday, bringing the 70s back to the Valley.

Next, we’re tracking another weak storm system that will drop temperatures a few degrees on Friday.

Our warm-up resumes this weekend with highs returning to the mid 70s on Sunday here in Phoenix.
