Labor crushed on GB News as star says ‘they’re starting civil war’ | Television and radio | Showbiz and television

GB News returned to screens with Isabel Webster and Ben Leo, who replaced the absent Eamonn Holmes.

The presenters were joined by the Conservative shadow chancellor Robert Jenrick to discuss farmers’ march in London to protest against the government’s refusal to overturn the inheritance tax ruling.

The politician said: “I think the Labor Party and the government have declared war on rural communities right across our country.

“It’s an unfair tax. It prevents family farmers from passing on their farms as they always intended to their children and grandchildren.”

Jenrick predicted: “This is going to cause havoc across the country,” adding: “We, the Conservative Party, have opposed this tooth and nail, and we are going to continue to press Parliament to urge the government that this not too much the case. It’s late for them to change course.

Isabel asked, “Do you recognize that there is a problem, there are these rich landowners, many farmers describe them as city boys who received huge bonuses for going out, buying parts of our British countryside and avoiding paying inheritance tax.
