GMB’s Susanna Reid issues emotional message as she marks her ‘last show’ | Television and radio | Showbiz and television

Susanna Reid has shared that today (December 11) will be her “last show” for ITV’s Good Morning Britain for a while. The presenter published a moving message, warmly thanking viewers, announcing that she would be taking a break.

Sitting alongside her co-star Richard Madeley, the 54-year-old host discussed the show’s 1 Million Minutes campaign. The campaign aims to encourage viewers to donate their time to charities that tackle the issues of loneliness.

Since its launch in 2016, 672 million minutes of time have been donated to charities that need volunteers who can connect with those who feel alone.

Susanna shared: “We are ending our incredible 1 Million Minutes campaign on a high note. I just want to thank everyone who donated their minutes to the campaign.

“We have a special program on Christmas Day but this is my last chance to thank you before Christmas because this is my last program before Christmas Day.”
