The most honest version of himself on “Chromakopia”

Never one to follow the status quo, Billboard cover star Tyler, the Creator sits down and shares the most honest version of himself that went into his Billboard chart-topping album, “Chromakopia “. The hit artist reflects on his 13-year career and how Camp Flog Gnaw has grown with him over the years. He also shares his new ventures, what he’s looking forward to in the future, and much more!

Producer:

Can you do that one more time, leaning back, for that mic. THANKS. THANKS. I just don’t want you to be in front. Yeah, I got you.

Tyler, the Creator:

No, no, get that shit up, we’ll take the mic. Hey guys, it’s me, Tyler, and you’re here with Billboard Magazine, and I can’t wait for you to see all the cool things we have coming for you guys, guys, including exclusives and exclusives. Fuck yeah. I’ve been so lucky for 13 years, and my last shit is my biggest? Brother, it’s rare. There’s some niggas out here saying their first album is the only one they can play when they go places, like they gotta use it as a marketing tool, ’cause that’s the one the people are the most connected. And sometimes it can feel like the other shit is being ignored. So I’m like, bro, this album was eaten 13 years later, and this, doing this, doesn’t happen often, so I’m sitting here like, oh, I don’t know anything. I thought I figured this shit out. I thought I knew song structure. And like, oh, all the kids are on TikTok. Nobody cares about the lyrics anymore. I’m a baby boomer, and I say no, this shit is backwards. I don’t know nothing, nigga, I’m so confused in the most positive way, and I really like it. Like, first week #1 was okay, cool, sick. I thought it had been a long time.

Keep watching to find out more!
