Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie, General Overseer of Potter’s City, has issued a serious warning to the leaders of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after their victory in the 2024 general elections. In a video released by NGOSRA TV on December 12, 2024, the Prophet urged the NDC to focus on the interests of Ghanaians and avoid repeating previous mistakes.

“I pray that the NDC, to whom Ghana has given this mandate, will not repeat the mistakes of the past,” Prophet Nanasei said. “If they do, God will not forgive them because He is the God of second chances. After massive victory comes the possibility of massive failure.

He also called on President-elect John Mahama and his ministers to approach their leaders with humility. Highlighting the importance of sensitivity in governance, Prophet Nanasei warned against arrogance and hubris. “When God deals with you, he makes sure you make mistakes,” he said. “Mahama has been to Jubilee House before, so he should return with humility and sensitivity. They shouldn’t come and sleep with young girls. I’ve met people on planes who were with young girls while their wives were at home.

As the NDC prepares to assume the leadership role, Prophet Nanasei’s message reiterates the importance of integrity, humility and accountability in governance.
