Meta’s deepfake-fighting AI video watermarking tool is here, and for some reason he decided to call it Video Seal.

Listen, forgive me, okay? It’s Friday afternoon as I write this, and I know I chose a silly image to accompany an article on what is a pretty important topic. But Meta called its new AI-generated video watermarking tool the Video sealand sometimes the header image selects itself.

Let’s get down to business. Or beach balls, one of them. (Stop it now – Editor’s note). Deepfakes are a major concern, with a recent Ofcom investigation reporting that two in five participants said they had seen at least one AI-generated deepfake in the past six months.
