The Valley viewers should expect the unexpected when they head into season 2.

In an exclusive interview with Us every week by participating Kathy HiltonThe DirecTV Los Angeles Christmas Party on Tuesday, December 10 Jesse Lally teased which fans can expect the show after a dramatic first season.

“If season 1 was one of the best reality shows, season 2 is going to blow it away,” he said.

Jesse, 43, credited each of his teammates for bringing all their during filming.

“Literally everyone picked up the slack,” he added. “I knew while I was filming Season 1 what the arc of the story was going to be. (Now) I have no idea and I’m filming all day every day for season 2.”

The Valleywhich debuted in March, reintroduced Bravo fans to Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright And Kristen Doute with their new circle of friends. The trio rose to fame on reality television when they appeared on Vanderpump Rules ahead of their respective releases in 2020.

The spinoff series was pitched as a show centered around a group of friends as they leave their wild younger years behind and instead focus on parenthood and adult life in California’s San Fernando Valley. In addition to Jax, 44, Brittany, 34, and Kristen, 41, The Valley introduced We to Kristen’s now fiancé, Luke Broderick, Danny Booko And Nia BookoJesse and Michelle Lally And Jason Caperna And Janet Caperna.

Some of the major moments of the first season included the end of Jesse and Michelle’s marriage and Brittany questioning her future with Jax. Following Vanderpump Rules‘ shocking casting overhaul, The Valley should also include more appearances of Lala Kent, Scheana Shay And Tom Schwartz.

“We’ve all been friends for a long time, so they’re going to be a part of it. As if I were Vanderpump Rules is running in the background,” Jesse noted to We. “We’re all going to cross the border, but our team is a great group. Look at how the first season went. So they will always be there. (And) if the new Vanderpump Rules does it look like the old one Vanderpump Rules then it will be a success.

Season 2 should also dive into the after of Jesse and Michelle’s separation. Filming for the first season ended before the couple officially announced their divorce. By the time cameras rolled back in the summer of 2024, Jesse and Michelle had both they have moved on as they continue to co-parenting 4-year-old daughter, Isabella.

“If you’re going through a divorce, I think it would be difficult for anyone,” Jesse explained. “There have been some crazy ups and downs and we had hoped that we could go there and be this cool couple that got divorced and everything is fine. It just didn’t happen that way. So you’ll see it unfold. You will see some parties taking sides – it’s not easy.

Jesse maintained that he and Michelle were doing their “best,” adding: “You go there for a few days and it’s great. Then something else happens – and that’s exactly how it works when you’re separated and going through a divorce. The divorce is taking longer than expected so it’s interesting. But we do our best.

The former couple priority will always be to be their daughter.

“Isabella doesn’t need to face this toxicity. She just wants to see the best and she does her best, which is good,” Jesse continued. “She enjoys her mother’s house and mine and our schedule suits her perfectly. That’s all that matters.
