Above average temperatures and potential for morning fog through midweek

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Warmer weather continues to develop Sunday.

Highs will be in the mid 70s with sunshine and some clouds. Uneven showering is possible as humidity increases.

We will be monitoring the fog each morning during your commute through Wednesday.

The big change comes as a cold front moves through Wednesday into Thursday.

Much colder air moves in, bringing highs in the 50s and a light frost for the end of the week.

A second front arrives next weekend with arctic air. This could be the coldest air of the season.

We will closely monitor the possibility of a severe frost. Highs may struggle to get out of the 40s next Sunday.
