“Kate is mortified that a disagreement with the Prince of Wales over the Duke of Sussex was leaked,” says our source.

Earlier this month, well connected Vanity Fair Royal reporter Katie Nicholl said during a podcast interview that she learned that Kate, 42, “is open to a reconciliation (with Prince Harry)” because “when you go through something like a diagnosis of cancer… you realize… that life is too short for family divisions and quarrels.

But Katie also added that the famously stubborn Prince William “will probably always feel very angry and betrayed (by Harry).”
