Actor Sonakshi Sinha has condemned veteran actor Mukesh Khanna after his repeated attacks on her upbringing. During a previous appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) in 2019, she did not answer a question about Lord Hanuman. Mukesh recently slammed his father Shatrughan Sinha for not teaching him Ramayana. In a lengthy post on Instagram Stories, she “respectfully” asked him to stop and forget the incident.

In her message, she wrote: “Dear Sir, Mukesh Khanna ji…I recently read a statement you made saying that it was my father’s fault that I didn’t answer a question on the Ramayana correctly on a show I attended many, many years ago (sic).”

She went on to explain that there were two other women in the hot seat who didn’t answer the question, but she was repeatedly harassed. “But you chose to continue to take my name, and only my name, for very obvious reasons. Yes, perhaps I forgot a human tendency that day and forgot for whom the sanjeevani booti had been brought (sic).”

Sonakshi reminded Mukesh Khanna of the lessons taught by Lord Ram. “Obviously you have also forgotten some of the lessons of forgiveness and forgetting from Lord Ram himself…if Lord Ram can forgive Manthara, if he can forgive Kaikeyi…if he can even forgive Ravan once the great battle is over, Surely you can let go of this extremely small thing in comparison…not that I need your forgiveness (sic),” his message read.

The actor then highlighted the fact that Mukesh should stop bringing up the incident. “I need you to forget and stop bringing up the same incident over and over again to be in the news at the expense of me and my family,” she said while calling him.

She concluded her note by saying: “The next time you decide to say anything about the values ​​my father instilled in me… remember that it is because of these values ​​that I do not said what I said, very respectfully, only after you decided to make unpleasant statements about my upbringing.

Commenting on Sonakshi Sinha’s mistake, Mukesh Khanna, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, said, “People were angry because Sonakshi didn’t know, but I would say it’s not her fault, it’s the fault of his father. Why didn’t he do it? They teach this to their children? Why have they become so modern? If I were Shaktimaan today, I would sit the kids down and teach them about Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma.
