The Masked Singer Season 12 Winners Are Honest About Whether It’s Easier for Groups or for the Show’s Solo Contestants

Warning! The following contains spoilers for The Masked Singer Season 12 finale. Stream it with a Hulu Subscription and read at your own risk.

We have reached the end of the road The Masked Singer Season 12, in what ended up being a homecoming night of phenomenal R&B singers. Wasp delivered breathtaking performances, but the singer, who ultimately revealed himself to be Mario, failed to reach the trio which is Buffalo. This is the first performance group to win the Fox series, so I had to ask Boyz II Men whether they thought it was easier or harder for groups to thrive through this series, as opposed to solo artists.

Nathan Morris, Shawn StockmanAnd Wanya Morris were kind enough to speak to me before The Masked Singer Final broadcast of season 12. Like The Masked Singer the season ends and we look forward to the TV schedule 2025here’s what Nate had to say about whether they had an advantage over everyone else by playing three talented singers instead of just one:

I mean, we can’t be anyone else. But yeah, I think it’s harder with The Masked Singer because normally you depended on yourself. So any mistakes you make are your fault. So if you’re in a group and one guy didn’t get it that night, it affects everyone. So it was basically three candidates having to be perfect against one person. So it’s much more difficult.
