U.S. Senator John Fetterman has expressed unconditional support for Israel’s war in Gaza, even going so far as to support Elise Stefanik for UN ambassador because she does too.

Fetterman supports Israel’s war efforts and downplays the deaths of Gaza women and children, with a total of more than 44,000 dead. How do women and children protect a Hamas terrorist from a 2,000 pound bomb? This is an issue that is ignored by him and other supporters.

What does he think about the continued expansion of settlements in the West Bank by settlers and their violence against Palestinians? And the numerous checkpoints that prevent Palestinians from traveling within their own areas?

What does he think of the Israelis considering future colonization and annexation of Gaza after the end of the war? Israel’s far-right government wants to establish a Jewish state, leaving the status of Palestinians living in the country undefined.

From the river to the sea, this also applies to the far-right, Israeli goals of reestablishing the biblical Jewish state. Fetterman’s position lacks nuance and ignores the complex issues facing the region. It turns a blind eye to the plight of millions of Palestinians and shows complete disregard for the safety of civilians.
