Toxic relationships are nothing new in anime and manga. But some series definitely outperformed others. Masashi Kishimoto created one of the most toxic brotherly relationships with Itachi and Sasuke. But Yuki Tabata easily overtook him in black clover and no one saw it coming.

While black clover has a lot of arrogant and tsundere characters, all fans can unanimously agree that the Silva siblings are the epitome of bullying. The way Noelle has been treated since childhood can never be forgiven, and it can even rival the way Itachi treated Sasuke.

Yuki Tabata showed the most toxic sibling relationship ever black clover

Noelle has three siblings: Nozel Silva, the captain of the Silver Eagle Squad, as well as Solid and Nebra Silva. Her three older siblings have bullied her horribly since childhood. Nozel was particularly dismissive of Noelle Silva and blamed her for the death of their mother, Steel. He abused her for years and even told her that failures like this were unnecessary on the battlefield.

He openly hated her and loudly wondered why their mother had to die giving birth to someone like Noelle. However, in the final chapters of black cloverit was revealed that Steel actually died because of Vanica and Megcula and that Nozel couldn’t talk about it because of a curse. Inside, he felt useless because he couldn’t do anything. He thought it was better to lock Noelle away to protect her rather than risk his life as a magic knight.

His behavior was mirrored by Solid and Nebra who also despise Noelle. They considered Noelle a shame and embarrassment to the Silva family because she couldn’t really control her water magic powers as a child. Solid poured water on Noelle during the War Merit Ceremony, further showing his arrogant and immature nature.

Due to all the bullying she faced since childhood, Noelle developed a crippling inferiority complex, and it took her many more years to be able to control her magic due to her fear of failure. Solid not only teased Noelle, but also slapped her food and destroyed her toys. Nebra, for his part, broke Noelle’s mirror and asked her for a favor since she wouldn’t have to look at herself anymore. All three are just poor excuses for siblings.

Silva family abuse goes beyond Uchiha trauma

Itachi was manipulated into killing his entire clan, only to spare his brother, Sasuke. But after completing his act, he traumatized Sasuke with his Genjutsu by repeatedly showing how his parents were killed. He did this to ensure that Sasuke would grow up to hate him and be strong enough to kill him one day.

This led Sasuke down a dark road as he wanted to gain ultimate power to avenge his clan. Madara and Izuna also have a somewhat questionable relationship, with Izuna sacrificing his eyes for Madara. But even after the combination of these nefarious acts, Nozel, Nebra, and Solid Silva would still be in the lead.

black clover revealed that Noelle regretted his actions and he apologized to Noelle for everything he had done. He also admitted that he was just trying to protect her, but the logic is extremely flawed. Yuki Tabata could have redeemed him, but his past actions will always remain in the minds of fans. After all, if he really wanted to protect his sister, he didn’t need to bully her.

Nebra and Solid don’t even have a valid excuse like Noelle and are just happy to be the most disgusting duo in the entire series. While Noelle blamed Noelle for Steel’s death, Nebra and Solid were truly despicable towards her. In total, the three older Silva siblings are definitely on the list of the most violent family members in the anime.
