Police reinvestigate 1983 disappearance of Idaho Springs teen Beth Miller

Idaho Springs police are renewing their efforts to find out what happened to Elizabeth “Beth” Miller, asking the public to share any relevant information about the 14-year-old girl who disappeared while jogging in 1983.

“We’re looking at it again quite thoroughly,” said Sgt Ryan Frost. “This is an important matter for our community, and we wanted to see if we could develop any new information about it.”

Miller went for a run around 10 a.m. on August 16, 1983 and has not been seen since. police said in a social media post.

Any member of the public with information on Miller’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Idaho Springs Police Department at 303-567-4291.
