Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim spoke after the home defeat: “It’s difficult to push for two or three wins – and we are trying. This match was tough for us. We suffered again from set pieces and we were a bit nervous, I felt it in the stadium .

“The penalty and another goal are really tough here. We tried to score a few goals but it was a difficult game, so let’s move on.

“If you look at the match, we didn’t concede anything before the first goal. We had our chances. If we manage to score the first goal, the match should be different. We want to score, but we are too nervous. We we have to fight against that.

“After the penalty we have to control the game better because we know this situation is really difficult. We have to control (the game) better in these moments.

“We have to focus on the work and not on how we feel in the stadium. It’s the only way I know to concentrate my players.

“We still have to suffer, but we will try to win. We will do it until the end.”
