Whether you’re not a baker or short on time, Trader Joe’s versatile gingerbread mix is ideal for baking cookies, cakes, bars and more.

The blend itself is naturally herbal, and to keep it that way, I use a flax egg and vegetable butter when I prepare it.

Pre-cut vegetables and herbs speed up meal preparation.

I’m looking forward to Trader Joe’s Holiday Vegetable Hash.Stephanie Dreyer

In the winter, I rely on Trader Joe’s tasty Holiday Vegetable Hash.

Since the peeling and chopping is already done, I simply sauté or roast the mixture of diced butternut squash, sweet potatoes, red onions, celery, parsley, sage and rosemary before adding it to the dishes.

This gives me a head start for dinner when I make stuffings, soups, or sides with quinoa and wild rice. The blend is also delicious in breakfast scrambles and burritos.

Peppermint popcorn is an instant hit on the dessert table.

I love the sweet and salty vibe of crunchy peppermint popcorn.Stephanie Dreyer

Sweet meets savory in Trader Joe’s seasonal crunchy peppermint popcorn, which blends dark and white chocolate-covered kernels mixed with crushed candy canes.

It’s great for one holiday dessert a table or a cozy movie marathon, but it also makes a nice host gift.

Sometimes I even add it to a larger holiday snack mix or rice crispy treats for an extra festive vibe.

Trader Joe’s Holiday Gummies are just plain fun.

It’s easy to fill my candy dishes with Trader Joe’s Tidings Scandinavian Gummy Candies, which come in all kinds of festive shapes.

I also saw a Festive Chaos candy mix this year. It contains bovine gelatin so it’s not vegan, but the rest of my family can enjoy it.

In addition to snacks, these festive bags are excellent Christmas stocking. You can also use them to decorate gingerbread houses and top holiday cupcakes and cookies.

Candy-cane Joe-Joe’s are a must-have for me every winter.

Perhaps the most anticipated product of the season at Trader Joe’s is its Joe-Joe’s Candy Cane.

Peppermint Sandwich Cookies are great on a holiday dessert board, chopped and mixed into a bowl of ice cream, crumbled over eggnog and dipped in cups of hot chocolate.

You can even crush them into pieces to make one easy pie crust.

Regular candy cane Joe-Joe’s are “accidentally” vegan, meaning they happen to be entirely plant-based. However, the gluten-free version of the cookies may contain milk and eggs, according to the ingredient list.

Stuffed olives are a game changer.

There are so many flavors of stuffed olives at Trader Joe’s.Stephanie Dreyer

Zesty lemon-stuffed olives are my top choice for adding flair to cocktails, mezze platters, and charcuterie boards.

Citrus olives are good as a ready-made snack, but I also skewer them on toothpicks on the side vegan cheese and cocktail tomatoes or chop them and mix them into dips.

If lemon isn’t your thing, other stuffed olive options are available, including garlic and jalapeño.

Mini Peppermint Marshmallows add a cheerful twist to classic favorites.

For the ultimate seasonal drink, I like to include them on my hot chocolate bars alongside plant-based whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

I’m checking off my bucket list with Trader Joe’s Frozen Crispy Vegetable Bags.

Pastry dough pockets are filled with jicama, taro, cabbage, carrots, onions and shiitake mushrooms for an elegant plant-based appetizer.

They’re seasoned with garlic, soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil and red pepper, adding global flavors to your holiday menu. Plus, they’re ready to eat in less than 15 minutes.
