BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – As we all look forward to Christmas, the First Alert Weather Team wanted to take a look at the weather Santa has brought to the Brazos Valley over the past few years.

Christmas Day forecasts have come in a variety of ways, even in the last decade alone. More recently, we have seen cooler than average temperatures, leading to back-to-back cold Christmases.

One of these occurred in 2023, when we saw a powerful cold front move into the region on Christmas Eve. A very similar pattern appears to be happening this time around, but temperatures won’t be as cool as last year.
