An investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead in a building in Dundee.

Emergency services were called to Burnside Court following reports of a death at a flat at around 7.50pm on Monday.

An autopsy is to be carried out to establish the cause of death, but the death is currently not considered suspicious.

A report must be submitted to the Fiscal Prosecutor.

“At around 7:50 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024, police were notified of the death of a woman at a flat in Burnside Court, Dundee.

“A post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, which is not considered suspicious at this time.

“A report will be sent to the fiscal prosecutor.”
