If you’ve been following our latest Emmerdale spoilers, you’ll be aware of the furious showdown between Will Taylor and Kim Tate. The festival episode will show Will’s life on the line as he has a heart attack, and Kim delays help. This may come as a surprise, because it was Kim who Will was trying to get revenge on. But has the opposite happened? Let’s find out.

How the problems started

Now we are all aware of Will’s evil revenge plans. He teamed up with Kim’s financial advisor, Peter, to bring Kim down, but there is also a third individual involved in all of this. Turns out the third party was none other than Joe Tate. Yes, Kim’s grandson Joe is finally back in the village after six years and is giving Peter instructions. But in the Christmas episode, we get a surprise: Joe visits Home Farm unexpectedly and tries to set a trap for Will.

Since Will had already expressed his intention to no longer participate in Kim’s revenge plan, this did not sit well with Joe. It appears he is back for revenge and, as a report, exposes Will’s past revenge plans. Kim and Will had the time of their lives before his arrival. Both were truly renewing their marriage vows; now even Will wants this marriage to work. But it seems destiny has other plans for both of them.

Kim can’t forgive his will

As soon as Joe arrives, he negatively influences Kim regarding Will. Once he reveals everything Will has planned, he even lies about how Will approached his son Jamie to take revenge. He even goes on to say that he and Peter are just testing Will’s honesty. When he is unsure whether these lies are working or not, he tries to convince Kim emotionally and tells her that there is nothing more important to him than family. On top of that, he says all he wants is to open her eyes to Will’s intentions and save her from humiliation.

Kim couldn’t believe what she heard from Joe, so she asked for some time to talk to her husband. Once Joe leaves, Will tries to explain to Kim how things happened and his true intentions. However, all his efforts seem to fail, as Kim can neither trust nor forgive him. Following this, we see Will collapse again with sudden chest pains, but Kim remains unconcerned.
