SIOUX FALLS, SD (Dakota News Now) – A fighting disturbance was reported near Arrowhead Parkway and Bank Place early Thursday.

Around 2 a.m., the report said shots were fired in a parking lot and several vehicles fled the scene.

No injured person came forward.

Police have made contact with a few witnesses, but details of the incident are still unclear.

Sgt. Travis Olsen mentioned another incident that occurred at a nearby apartment complex 20 minutes after the reported shooting.

An individual claimed to have been robbed by several men. The victim of the robbery was also at the scene of the fight.

Sgt. Olsen said the incidents could be related, but that is unconfirmed at this point.
