Sybiha, Blinken discuss boosting US aid to Ukraine

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken coordinated plans for additional U.S. support for Ukraine, with a focus on strengthening air defense capabilities.

Sybiha announced this on the social media platform Xreports Ukrinform.

“In our call, I thanked U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken for his efforts to ensure that all previously committed assistance is delivered in the coming weeks. We have coordinated additional support, including air defense and pressure on Russia,” he wrote.

He also praised the United States and Blinken for their decisive leadership.

On December 25, US President Joe Biden called Russia’s Christmas missile strike on Ukraine scandalous and promised that the United States would continue to increase its arms deliveries to Ukraine, including including air defense missiles.
