(RTTNews) – Retail sales volume in Slovenia increased in November compared to the previous month, driven by higher demand for food products, preliminary data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia showed on Friday.

The volume of retail sales excluding automotive fuel increased by 0.4% compared to the previous month. Food sales increased 1.0 percent and non-food sales edged up 0.1 percent.

Sales, including automotive fuel, increased 1.8 percent.

Retail sales volume remained unchanged compared to the same month last year. Sales excluding automotive fuel fell 4.3 percent. Food sales increased by 3.0 percent and non-food sales by 1.5 percent. Between January and November, retail turnover decreased by 0.4% compared to last year.
