EAM and Sullivan review their relationship over the past 4 years and discuss global issues

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and his US counterpart Antony Blinken on Thursday reviewed the progress of the India-US partnership over the last four years. Jaishankar, during his meeting, expressed confidence that these ties would serve mutual interests and global good.

In an article on X, Jaishankar said: “Nice to meet @SecBlinken last night in Washington DC. Review of the progress of the India-US partnership over the past four years. We agreed that our cooperation has strengthened in many areas, just as our comfort level has increased accordingly. Confident that India-US relations will serve our mutual interests as well as the global good.

Jaishankar is currently on an official visit to the United States. He had earlier met Indian Ambassador to the United States, Vinay Kwatra, as well as consuls general based in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Houston and Atlanta.

“A productive day with the @IndianEmbassyUS team and our consuls general based in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Houston and Atlanta. Discussion on opportunities to deepen the India-US partnership, focusing on technology, trade and investment. We also shared our views on better serving the Indian community in the US,” Jaishankar wrote on X.

Jaishankar held in-depth discussions with Sullivan on the progress of the India-US strategic partnership and exchanged views on current regional and global developments. “Nice to meet US NSA @JakeSullivan46 in Washington DC this morning. A wide-ranging discussion on the progress of the India-US strategic partnership. We also exchanged views on current regional and global developments,” Jaishankar wrote on X.
