Kwara Emir and President mourn late Chief of Staff to Governor AbdulRazaq

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has expressed deep sadness over the death of the Chief of Staff to the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Mahe AbdulKadir .

Sulu-Gambari, in a statement issued on Saturday by his spokesperson, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, said: “Inna lillahi Waina Roooojihun, I welcome the passing of Prince Mahe AbdulKadir with gross shock and surprise. »

The emir described Mahé as “a diligent administrator and committed prince of the Alimi dynasty. A colossal loss has befallen us in the Emirate of Ilorin.

“The Emir however commiserates with the wife and children of the deceased, the government and people of Kwara State in particular, His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON and the entire Shehu Alimi dynasty over this unfortunate incident,” reads the press release.

He also expressed his sympathy to the friends and associates of the late chief of staff of the governor, while “praying that Allah Almighty forgives his faults, accepts his good deeds and admits him into Al-janatul firdaos.”

Also, the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has expressed deep sadness over the death of Prince Abdulkadir Mahe earlier today.

Prince Mahe, a former Clerk of the Kwara State House of Assembly, was the Chief of Staff to His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq until his death.

In a statement by the spokesperson’s chief press secretary, Abdulkadir Yusuf, also on Saturday, the speaker said: “With complete submission to the will of Allah, we mourn the death of our father; Prince Abdulkadir Mahe, a distinguished civil servant and administrator par excellence who served the legislative and executive branches of government meritoriously, is surely a great loss to all of us.

“We commiserate with the Emir of Ilorin, the Abdulkadir family and the emirate at large on the passing of the illustrious Prince Mahe. We also sympathize with His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON on the passing away of his Chief of Staff, may Allah Almighty comfort them in this difficult time and beyond.

“The Speaker, on behalf of the Kwara State House of Assembly, prays to Allah to forgive the late Prince Abdulkadir Mahe and grant him Al-janatul firdaos.”
