You don’t exist in Anambra, forget winning elections – APGA tells APC

The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has called on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to bury its ambitions to win the elections in Anambra State, saying the APC does not have the political structure to succeed in the state.
APGA National Chairman, Sly Ezeokenwa, said this in response to the call by the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, for party loyalists to bring Anambra into the fold of the APC, starting with the 2025 gubernatorial election.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Friday, Ezeokenwa said the APC was not an existing political party in Anambra State, adding that it had no structure or elected representatives.

Corroborating this view, the immediate past national chairman and current board member of the party, Victor Oye, criticized Ganduje’s ambitions, saying: “Ganduje is my friend, but is it not laughable that Kano , his State of origin, is in the hands of Kano? of the NNPP, and yet he talks about winning Anambra?

“Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s second term is already assured with the Supreme Court judgment upholding the leadership of APGA,” he said.
