Emma Roberts’ Fashionphile Partnership Is the Ultimate Sustainable Style Killer

Emma Roberts knows the benefit of shopping second-hand.

At a recent event for Fashionphile in Los Angeles, Roberts, 33, caught up with PEOPLE for a quick game of Slay or Nay. Of course, when it came to buying second-hand handbags — a specialty of the luxury accessories retailer — the actress called out a “Slay!” ” enthusiastic. (How cute is this baby, the Chanel top handle she’s holding!)

THE American Horror Story also qualifies as lending your Chanel to your friends as major murder. As for checking your bag onto a plane? No, says Roberts – but with a caveat.

“It’s no, but I do it all the time,” she told PEOPLE at the Sept. 12 event. “That’s a huge no.”

Another “no” was given by Roberts to the method of dressing for promotional tours.

Roberts was announcement as a Fashionphile ambassador in May 2024. The star appeared in the brand’s 25th anniversary campaign, including a 30-second video that features her purchases of Hermès and Louis Vuitton handbags at Fashionphile’s flagship store in New York, in Chelsea, New York.

The actress also curated a collection of her favorite ultra-luxe accessories to shop on Fashionphile.com.
