Eat Donuts and Support the Boys & Girls Club

Eat donuts and support a good cause?

This seems like a good deal and it will take place on Tuesday!

More than fifty of Milwaukee’s top business leaders took part in the Donut Smackdown, which was whittled down to a final six.

The event is free and open to the public: those who show up will have a chance to win tickets to an upcoming Charlie Berens show. Best of all, the money raised goes to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.

TMJ4’s Tom Durian had the chance to speak with the event’s founder, Anne Zizzo.

“The dollars we raise will help support the forty-four facilities we have in the city,” she said. “The people who work there, the programming and to make sure that we are helping the young people who need us so much during this holiday season.”

The goal of this year’s Donut Smackdown is to raise over $75,000 to donate to the Boys & Girls Club. You can support your favorite candidate online or simply make a donation.
