Tricks AND Treats Today

CLEVELAND — Halloween is here and Mother Nature has her own tricks for kids as they gather their treats. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s through the afternoon. Scattered rain showers and even a rumble of thunder arrive mid-afternoon and last into the evening, which could put a damper on our little ghosts and goblins. Winds will also be between 30 and 40 mph for the third day in a row.

Temperatures drop Friday with highs in the 50s early in the day…falling back into the 40s in the afternoon.

*Remember, we will “return” to standard time on Sunday, November 3 at 2 a.m. So set your clocks back an hour before bed on Saturday and check your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to make sure they’re working.

What to expect:

  • Dry and hot this evening
  • Windy until Thursday
  • Expect wind and isolated showers on Halloween afternoon
  • Much cooler this weekend

Daily distribution:

Halloween: Windy with scattered rain late in the day. | High: 77º

Friday: Clearing and cooling throughout the day. | High: 53º (40s in the afternoon)

SATURDAY: Bright but cooler. | High: 56º

Sunday: More clouds with a few showers late in the afternoon. | High: 60º
