Kenly Police Team Up With Jason Knapp To Help Cancer Patients This Christmas

KENLY – The Kenly Police Department has partnered with Jason Knapp, better known as The Kitchen Goat, on a heartfelt mission to support cancer patients during their most difficult times. Jason Knapp, founder of the nonprofit Kitchen Goat Feeds Corporation, has dedicated his life to raising funds to provide gift cards to cancer patients, ensuring they have access to groceries essential while fighting this deadly disease.

On December 18, Jason brought hope and smiles to Kenly, personally meeting with cancer patients to share his generosity and compassion. Her journey to starting this inspiring nonprofit began with a simple but life-changing moment. During a hospital visit, Jason overheard a woman undergoing cancer treatment express her distress at having to choose between paying her medical bills or buying food. Moved by his dilemma, Jason took immediate action, establishing Kitchen Goat Feed Company to help others facing similar struggles.

Jason’s decision to take action and create this nonprofit organization speaks volumes about his compassion and love for those in need, said Chief Ayers of the Kenly Police Department. “We need more people like Jason. Let his actions speak for him…he makes a real difference in the lives of those facing one of life’s toughest battles.

Jason’s efforts extend to several counties in eastern North Carolina, bringing relief and hope to countless people. Working with the Kenly Police Department, Jason recognizes the incredible courage of cancer patients. These people face unimaginable challenges, but persevere with unwavering strength and determination.

“We look to these cancer fighters as an inspiration,” said Chief Ayers. “Their courage gives us hope and we are grateful to play a role in their fight by supporting Jason’s incredible mission.”

Chief Ayers says the Kenly Police Department is committed to standing with Jason as he continues to bring hope and kindness to those who need it most.
