With less than 24 hours until Election Day, activists are taking to the streets of Philadelphia to convince residents to vote for Kamala Harris.

At Immanuel Lutheran School, Democratic supporters came from across the country to campaign in the election’s most important swing state.

This is Tatum Pelczarski’s first election, and she took a six-hour flight from California, then drove for four days to campaign here.

“As a young woman, it does not make me happy to see my mother’s rights in her generation canceled or threatened, especially abortion which is extremely important to me,” says the 18-year-old.

“My grandmother was raped by a man and she couldn’t have an abortion at that time.”

She says Donald Trump is a “threat to democracy” and would make the United States an “extremely threatening place” for marginalized people.

“I’m just very afraid for the direction our country is taking. It’s extremely damaging,” she adds.

“It’s clear he doesn’t put women on the same level as men. He’s very clearly a misogynist.”
