Richard Madeley was booed by a ITV public after calling his daughter Chloe “cheap”.

THE Hello Great Britain presenter, 68, joined his daughter, 37, for an episode of Romesh RanganathanParents’ Evening, alongside Jonathan Ross and daughter Honey, and Spice Girl Mel B with daughter Phoenix.

At one point, celebrities and their children were challenged with their knowledge of boybands, with Chloe revealing she could name ten of the 11 in question.

However, Richard had underestimated her before, leaving Jonathan and Honey to answer the question.

After their team scored seven points, Romesh told the ITV presenter: “Richard, you might not have known about this, but Chloe absolutely couldn’t wait to play that. Chloe, do you think you would have had more?

After being put to the test over her impressive knowledge of Take That and Westlife, Richard was criticized for her “missed opportunity”.

“How can I make it up to you?” he asked Chloe, to which she replied: “McDonalds.”

“That’s why I like it, it’s cheap,” Richard said.

The audience was stunned by his comment, while Mel B and Phoenix were left speechless at what he said, with boos heard around the studio.

“That’s rich coming from a man who doesn’t even want to buy pants,” Jonathan joked to Richard, who previously said he didn’t wear boxers.
