One person is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a collision between a scooter and a vehicle.

It happened around 3:20 Saturday afternoon along 240 Midpark Way SE, which is the parking lot for the Midnapore Mall.

Calgary Emergency Medical Services said they took the person on the scooter to Foothills Medical Center in serious, life-threatening condition.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was not injured.

The police are investigating.
