Chronic wasting disease (CWD) has been discovered in the Upper and Lower Peninsulas of Michigan.

CWD is a neurological disease that affects deer, elk and moose. This causes brain degeneration. This can lead to emaciation, abnormal behavior, loss of bodily functions, and possibly death.

Once an animal is infected with CWD, it does not recover. There is no cure.

Spirit Airlines files for bankruptcy as financial losses pile up and debt payment nears

Spirit Airlines said Monday it has filed for bankruptcy protection and will try to restart as it struggles to recover from the pandemic-induced travel slump and a failed attempt to sell the airline. airline to JetBlue.

Ann Arbor police are seeking more information after a group of men brandished a gun at a group of University of Michigan students early Sunday morning.

On Nov. 17, around 1:20 a.m. in the 600 block of Oxford Road, police said a group of college-aged men approached a group of University students of Michigan on a porch, had attempted to provoke a fight and one of the suspects. allegedly displayed a handgun before leaving the scene.

Moscow warns US against allowing Ukraine to strike Russian soil with long-range weapons
